BCPhA Membership Refund Policy
General Membership
- When a member chooses to terminate their membership, no refund of the prepaid dues will be provided.
- All member benefits, including personal professional liability insurance, cease on termination. The amount retained is an administrative charge, not membership fee.
- When an individual general member is a manager of a corporate membership, a prorated refund is provided for the overlapping period of the two memberships. At the request of the corporate member and with the discretion of the CEO, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
All Other Membership Categories
- When a member wishes to terminate membership, no refund of the prepaid dues will be provided. At the request of the member and with the discretion of the CEO, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
CEO Discretion
- If the CEO determines that a refund should be made, the amount of the refund will be dependent upon the length of time remaining in the membership. If there is more than six months remaining, the amount refunded will be equal to six months of that membership. If there is less than six months remaining in the membership, nothing will be refunded. All member benefits, including personal professional liability insurance, cease on termination. The amount retained is an administrative charge, not membership fee.
